The transition from Frontline Arlington to the early morning meetings that start my Tuesdays off can be a jarring one. I’m not going to lie – when the alarm went off this morning it took me a good 30 seconds to think about what day it was. Kind of frightening when you’re thinking about that question and really can’t come up with the answer! Very disorienting.

What I love about Tuesdays is starting my day with the team that leads our summer Bible studies. It’s amazing to see how God works in that time. He refines our lives. He challenges me personally. He helps us lead Wednesday nights so much more effectively because we do it all together.

It’s honestly a simple reminder of the importance of the Scriptures in each of our lives. Your Tuesday morning doesn’t need to start at a Starbucks with others. But it needs to start with the Word of God. Those minutes alone with the Scriptures will change your whole day around. If you haven’t found that time yet today, fight for it at some point!
